Your wish is my command

I had a request for the Pumpkin Cake recipe, so here it is.

Pumpkin Cake

Step 1:
1 package yellow cake mix (reserve 1 cup)
1 egg
½ c melted, cooled butter
Combine and press into greased 9x13 pan.

Step 2:
1 lb. 13 oz. can pumpkin
1 ¼ tsp cinnamon
¾ tsp ginger
½ tsp cloves
½ c brown sugar
2 eggs
2/3 c milk
Mix and pour over top of cake mixture.

Step 3:
1 c reserved cake mix
¼ c sugar
1 tsp cinnamon
2 T softened butter
Crumble and put on top of pumpkin layer.

Bake at 350⁰ for 45 – 50 minutes.

  2. I also voted for more than one pie. I don't like lemon merengue pie because I can taste the egg in the merengue but I recently ate a piece of double cream lemon pie (cream cheese and sour cream) can I just say it was wonderful? It was! Blueberry has always been my fav though so I maintained my loyalty to it. Thanks for the recipe I am going to get it to my dad and see what he can do with it (btw I hate just about anything with pumpkin in it, unAmerican, I know.)
